The Jacksonville Jaguars have seen small successes since being created in 1995. The second year, they got to the AFC Championship Game. In 1999, they got there again, becoming the first team to lose to one team three times in a season. Under the shocking leadership of Blake Bortles, they came within one blown officiating call of beating the Patriots dynasty in Foxboro. However, for the last few years, the Jaguars have appeared to be playing an entirely different game from the rest of the NFL. The goal of their game is to get injured, give the ball to the opposing team, and score as few points as possible.
The Jaguars have done everything possible to make their fans sad. Whether it's draft picks that leave future superstars on the table, while selecting players who will leave the league seemingly within days; replacing a coach whose most imaginative call was the bologna sandwich he had for lunch with a notoriously amoral college coach who excelled through recruiting (which is pointless in the NFL); or demanding civic funding for an entertainment complex in the name of continuing to lose in a nicer place, no one has encouraged people to do almost anything else on a Sunday than the Jacksonville Jaguars.
This is the only possible reason for this absolute dumpster fire to continue existing.
